Located on the Southwest tip of Puerto Rico and more than 120 miles from San Juan… Cabo Rojo barrio-pueblo is a barrio and the administrative center of Cabo Rojo, a municipality of Puerto Rico. Its population in 2010 was 1,078. As was customary in Spain, the municipality in Puerto Rico has a barrio called pueblo which contains a central plaza, the municipal buildings, and a Catholic church. ARUBA
Aruba’s landscape is one of contrasting terrain, from its white-sand southern shoreline to its rugged north coast. Buffeted by breezes and surrounded by turquoise waters, this port is a hot spot for aquatic activities like sailing, deep sea fishing, kayaking and kitesurfing. Snorkelers can discover sea creatures at various coral reefs and at the shipwreck of the SS Antilla, a German vessel from World War II. Visit the Alto Vista Chapel, Aruba’s first church, and the aloe vera factory and museum, where you can learn about the plant’s healing powers, or navigate your own Jeep to the ruins of a gold mill and the remains of the Natural Bridge, which was carved out of limestone cliffs by wind and waves. Hikes, trail rides and off-roading adventures in Arikok National Park promise interesting wildlife sightings, while stops at the California Lighthouse afford some of the best views on the island.
CURACAO
One of the Caribbean’s most delightful ports, colorful Curacao is famed for its blue-tinted liqueur, partially made from the island’s oranges. Distillery tours sample the spirit, and other outings explore capital Willemstad, the salt flats wild flamingos or the 300,000-year-old Hato Caves. Curacao has the Western Hemisphere’s oldest continuously inhabited Jewish community and some shore excursions visit the historic Jewish neighborhood and a cemetery consecrated in 1659. White-sand beaches and swimmable bays abound on the island’s less developed western side. For water activities, choose between renting a Jet Ski or kayak or booking a private yacht or fishing trip. The crystalline waters are home to an expansive underwater park, with miles-long reefs hosting barracudas, sea turtles and manta rays. Inspect the pirate-deterring Fort Beekenburg or Queen Emma Bridge, a floating pontoon bridge. One must-see is Boca Tabla, a coastal cave created from the sea and wind.
FUN DAY AT SEA
Another wonderful day to experience and enjoy the Norwegian Sky.
PUERTO PLATA, DOMINICAN REPUBLIC
A true resort-lover’s paradise, Puerto Plata was developed purely as a vacation destination, with a Robert Trent Jones, Jr.-designed golf course, a riding stable, a huge assortment of water sports and a long stretch of sandy beach. You can visit the Museo de Ambar Dominicano to view a large collection of exotic amber specimens and Fort San Felipe, the oldest fort in the New World.

Philadelphia means “the city of brotherly love” in Greek, and its diverse population has been fulfilling this motto since this Pennsylvania city was founded by the Dutch centuries ago. The sixth largest city in the U.S., Philadelphia was once the home to the ideas and events that began the American Revolution, and served as the nation’s first capital in the 1790’s. There are numerous historical sites, museums, and galleries. Don’t forget to try its signature food: the Philly cheesesteak. Upon arrival you are transferred to your choice of first class (3 star) or deluxe (4 star) hotel.

To see another side to the city, see bustling Chinatown, where the fusion of Chinese, Thai, Vietnamese and Korean cultures will dazzle you. Other highlights include Rodin Museum. The Easter State Penitentiary is another highlight. This former prison once housed some of the world’s most notorious criminals (Al Capone!), and today it stands in ruins. Revised 04/21
Posted on Glo KosTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. From: Gloria Toti-Koski. Our guide Al was great. Couldn’t have been nicer or more informative.Posted on Mary PeshmanTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Great day at the Cedar Keys Seafood festival. Communication from the travel club was very good - though it might take a day. The bus was in great condition with wifi & bathroom. Al, our escort, was so informative on both the way to and the way back. We gave us insight into the festival & community so stepping off the bus we felt very comfortable in the new setting. The Travel club provided a nice small bag lunch to be sure we all had something to eat. Directions were clear. Exact bus times for coming & going weren't given out till the week prior the event - this did make some nervous but worked out well for most. We had about 3 hours at this festival - some members had hoped for a longer stay. The escort did not give out his phone number - a point some would have appreciated having. Most of us are already planning on our next trips with Happening travel & I think that is the BEST recommendation of all:)Posted on Jan MastersonTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We took the bus to the Florida state fair. The guide, Al, was excellent, both humorous and knowledgeable. The only reason for the “4” was the absence of information by the club. We only found out the departure time this week. Why so secretive? We were also told we’d be back by 4. Leaving at 10:30, arriving at noon in Tampa snd leaving at 2:30 would have influenced our decision to book. As it turned out, we didn’t leave until 3.30 a much appreciated surprise. Please be up front with your advertising with at least the date. Before payment, give the departure/return times.Posted on doug bTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The trip to the Glades and Key West was excellent. As a native South Floridian, I thought i knew a lot about these areas. But, Al, our guide, was a walking encyclopedia. This fast paced trip fulfilled all of my expectations and then some.Posted on Judy WiseTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Everglades, the Keys, Key West phenomenal! Al the tour guide was great and an educated historian. Loved it!Posted on Allen FopianoTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. This was our 1st trip with Happening Travel Club and was better than we could expect! Wow! The education that we learned from Al about the keys and the Everglades was great! We are planning on more trips in the future! Thanks A&DPosted on Verne BetlachTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The tour guide Al was fantastic. He gave great information and was well organized. The only negative was the time spent in KeyWest was way too short. The everglade part was excellent.Load more
